Antique Figured Maple Cane-Seat Dining Chairs — Set of 8
Beautiful set of eight antique figured maple dining chairs with hand-caned seats, turned legs and shaped backs. The maple has incredible variation throughout, with a mix of bird’s-eye and tiger/curly figuring and a warm, aged surface.
Six chairs are invery good antique condition, with intact caning and wonderful patina. Of the remaining two,one has a split/broken section of seat caning, andone is missing a small piece of wood from the rear of the chair back. Please see photos for condition. Wear, variation and imperfections throughout are consistent with age and use.
A really special set — beautiful around a dining table but equally good broken up and used throughout a home.
