Born and raised in Massachusetts, I’ve always been shaped by the coast. From Cape Cod to the North Shore, the shifting shoreline, weathered shingle cottages, overcast skies, and salt air have quietly shaped my eye and sense of home.
That coastal cottage rhythm shows up in what I’m drawn to. Furniture that’s been lived with and loved, aged brass softened by time, worn-in textiles, and honest materials meant to last. I’m inspired by mossy stone walls, sun-faded cotton, the markings on old boat hulls, and the way time leaves its signature on everything it touches.
Living here means staying in relationship with the elements. With the right layers, you can be outside all yeah round, fighting the good fight against seasonal affective disorder. Stormy winter walks and crisp fall air keep me grounded and connected.
For me, coastal living isn’t just a lifestyle. It’s a way of seeing. It’s about durability over perfection, warmth over polish, and collecting pieces that carry both history and soul.
