    About Us

Homes that feel collected, not decorated.

Diamonds & Rust was founded in 2010 by Janelle Bannon.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, my eye has always been shaped by the New England coast — weathered shingles, salty air, cottage kitchens, worn pine floors, and furniture that was built to last because it had to.

Diamonds & Rust is a vintage-forward shop focused on pieces with good bones and honest materials. Antique dressers. Factory carts. Faded textiles. Aged brass. Things that feel familiar, like they’ve lived a life before landing in yours.

Adding vintage and antiques brings warmth and character to a home in a way new things rarely can. A painted cabinet with a few layers showing. A table that’s seen decades of dinners. A chair that doesn’t need to be perfect to be useful.

Sustainability is common sense. Keeping well-made pieces in circulation means less waste, better materials, and homes filled with objects that already carry history.

Everything is sourced throughout New England and selected for strength, shape, and longevity. Many pieces are cleaned, repaired, or refinished by hand- not to erase their past, but to make sure they’re ready for daily life again.

My favorite part of this work is the match... finding something special and knowing exactly whose home it belongs in. Helping people build spaces that feel layered, personal, and real.

Alongside vintage finds, you’ll also find a small edit of new goods that sit naturally beside the old.

    Simple. Useful. Meant to last.
