Pendleton Beaver State Ivory Blanket
This is a used/rare Pendleton "Beaver State" Blanket in ivory, acquired from a private collection. There is some minor wear, see last two images for details.
The "Beaver State" name originated in 1912 when Pendleton robes/blankets and shawls were sold to the Walla Walla, Cayuse and Umatilla tribes in the vicinity of the Pendleton mill on the Columbia plateau. Since then, the term has been used in the branding of this great American company.
