Pendleton Beaver State Brown Blanket

This is a vintage Pendleton "Beaver State" Blanket in brown.

The "Beaver State" name originated in 1912 when Pendleton robes/blankets and shawls were sold to the Walla Walla, Cayuse and Umatilla tribes in the vicinity of the Pendleton mill on the Columbia plateau. Since then, the term has been used in the branding of this great American company.
