    Bernz-O-Matic Tool Box

This beautifully aged Bernz-O-Matic small metal tool box is a time capsule to a bygone era. Likely used by a metal worker in the early 1900's to house hand tools, it was even uniquely riveted at one point (see the photo or the rear hinge).

In 1876, Otto Bernz founded the Otto Bernz Co. in Newark, NJ to sell plumbers' tools, furnaces and torches. In the 1940s, the name changed to Bernz-O-Matic, and the company relocated to Rochester, NY. Though the company has changed hands multiple times over the years, it still exists today.

    Measurements: 11"L X 9"W X 3"D
