Pyrex Nesting Bowls
A fantastic set of four Vintage Pyrex Nesting Bowls from the late 1950s or early 1960s. This color combination is a rare sight, and a must have for any Pyrex or kitchenware collector.
Pyrex "Nesting" bowls were introduced by Corning Glass Works in 1947 and became a sought after item for American kitchens. Their popularity and collectibility remains high today throughout the world.
Besides cookware, Corning innovations in glass chemistry were used in glass insulators, thermometers, glass construction blocks, Thomas Edison’s first light-bulb blanks, telescopes, television tubes, optical glass, nursing bottles, Christmas tree ornaments, and laboratory tools such as beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks, bottles, funnels, and more.
