Diamonds and Rust at the Brimfield Antique Show May 16th-18th May 08 2013
Diamonds and Rust are proud to announce that we will be a vendor at the Brimfield Antique Show in the May's Field location this month. We will be there selling in the field May 16th through the 18th.
Brimfield is the home of May's Antique Market, known for huge crowds and their unique opening allowing all buyers to be early buyers. Located in the heart of Brimfield Massachusetts, May's offers the best assortment of antiques and collectibles dealers from all over North America and is considered the "best" field by dealers and shoppers alike.

Happy Earth day everybody. We take the ideas behind Earth Day seriously, and reflect those ideals in the items that we carry. A few local companies embody that spirit, and we want to share that with you.
Here are some example of things we carry made from discarded items, giving them a new life that is beautiful and functional.

Air Plants. April 14 2013
For those who wish they had a green thumb but don't really. Air plants are super easy to care for! Does not require direct sun light. You only need to mist the plant 1-2 times a week.

Diamonds & Rust Retail Signage by J. Rodricks January 02 2013
Local contractor/designer/artist and friend J. Rodricks has been hard at work on our new sign for the Diamonds & Rust 100 Cabot Street location. The sign is constructed from reclaimed lumber from a recent church teardown in Boston. All letterforms were handcut and chiseled before mirrored typography was applied in the recessed areas. Simply incredible. Look for it to go up on the building facade soon.

Dan McCarthy is a world recognized artist residing in East Falmouth, MA. Dan has made a name for himself in the world of Illustration through the creation of treasured Silkscreened Prints and other unique items. Much of his powerful work takes inspiration from Animals, Nature, and Sea Coast living. Diamonds & Rust now offers Dan McCarthy Limited Silkscreened Prints in person at our brick and mortar store. Plycraft & Mid Century lot coming soon to D&R September 06 2012
Diamonds & Rust recently had the pleasure of acquiring a large lot of items that came direct from the Plycraft Manufacturing plant in Lawrence MA, prior to the building burning down in the early 90s. We have a number of unfinished, and unassembled original "Cherner" & "Bernardo" (the Plycraft copy of the "Cherner") chairs and parts. We also have a number of original Plycraft prototypes, retail display items, and rare mid century items in our possession.
As soon as these items are ready for public viewing, we will post about it here.
